Hi! I’m Nina Raff—a licensed teacher, learning specialist, educational consultant, and licensed project manager, and the founder of RaffAMatics Tutoring & Mentoring.

I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Education and Mathematics from Loyola University Chicago and grew up in Glenview, Illinois. I bring a well-rounded background to education, combining 15 years of classroom teaching, over 10 years of one-on-one tutoring, and professional experience as a project manager in corporate IT and construction environments.

After COVID, I saw a widening gap in education. Students weren’t receiving the individualized attention they needed, confidence was declining, and families felt disconnected. That moment is where RaffAMatics was truly born—and over the past year, it has become my full-time mission.

I believe the future of our youth depends not only on how we parent our children, but also on how we teach them. Educators have the power to shape a child’s confidence, character, motivation, and drive, and my goal is to reach as many students as possible while helping them grow academically and personally.

Today, I support students from early childhood through college and beyond, including job applications, resume building, interview preparation, and life skills. I also proudly collaborate with elite educators across the Chicago North Shore and virtually throughout the United States, ensuring families receive exceptional instruction, structure, and mentorship.

Beyond the Classroom

When I’m not working with students, I enjoy spending time outdoors—hiking, swimming in the ocean, traveling, and being with friends and family. I play pickleball, am a former tennis player, and love Thai food, sushi, and pizza. I’m also a proud dog mom to my adorable pup, Buddy 🐾
